Description

You will design, architect, and maintain cloud data solutions on the Azure platform to support complex business analytics needs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design application solutions on the Azure Data Platform for complex business requirements.
• Lead technology proof of concepts to validate architecture feasibility.
• Provide architecture direction and technical patterns to engineering teams.
• Drive continuous technology transformation to reduce technical debt and improve efficiency.
• Participate in defining target state technology architecture and roadmaps.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of proven experience with SQL, schema design, and dimensional data modelling.
• Minimum 5+ years in modern data engineering, data warehousing, or data lake technologies on cloud platforms.
• Expertise with ETL/ELT tools including Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong experience with big data tools such as Databricks, Spark, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Proficiency in programming using PySpark and Spark SQL.
• Solid knowledge of data warehouse best practices and development standards.
• Experience with Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).

Preferred Skills

• Demonstrated experience driving continuous technology transformation.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric Data Platform.
