Description

You will design and implement cloud-native data solutions using the Microsoft stack and Azure services. You own the full lifecycle of data engineering, from pipeline development to architectural standards.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse.
• Administer Azure Data Factory and Synapse, defining technical standards and best practices.
• Develop cloud-native solutions leveraging core Azure storage, compute, and managed services.
• Implement data lake architectures using ADLS or Blob storage with separation of storage and compute.

Required Skills

• 8+ years developing data solutions with SSIS, SSAS, SQL Server, and Azure.
• 2+ years building cloud data pipelines with Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse.
• 2+ years developing cloud-native data solutions on Azure.
• 2+ years working with SQL Server and/or Synapse.
• 2+ years with SQL, T-SQL, and stored procedures.
• 1+ years building data lakes using ADLS or Blob storage.
• 1+ years implementing storage and compute separation.
• 1+ years experience with SSIS.
• Strong data warehousing and data modeling skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building end-to-end enterprise data platforms on Azure.
• Proficiency in Python, C#, Azure Analysis Services, or Azure Databricks.
