Description

You will own the design, architecture, and maintenance of data solutions on Azure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain applications supporting large-scale architectural migrations within an Agile function.
• Translate business needs into scalable data applications in alignment with the Product Owner and Scrum Master.
• Manage data ingestion from heterogeneous sources, including databases and flat files.
• Design storage and retrieval systems for large datasets, ensuring convergence with Azure cloud migration.
• Assess scaling requirements to sustain data management and delivery performance.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and data lake technologies on cloud platforms.
• Expertise with SQL, schema design, and dimensional data modelling.
• Strong experience with ETL/ELT tools, specifically Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Microsoft Fabric.
• Deep knowledge of big data tools including Microsoft Fabric, DataBricks, and Spark.
• Proficiency in PySpark and Spark SQL.
• Experience with Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
