Description

You will design and implement data architectures on Azure platforms, owning the full lifecycle from ingestion to visualization. Your work ensures scalable, secure, and efficient data pipelines across Synapse, Databricks, and Data Lake environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data lakes and warehouses using Azure Synapse serverless SQL pools and Delta Lake architectures.
• Ingest, prepare, orchestrate, and visualize data across complex pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Synapse Apache Spark Pools.
• Monitor resource usage and user activity across SQL, Spark, and Data Explorer workloads to optimize performance.
• Integrate code with enterprise CI/CD processes using SQL, Spark, or KQL scripts.
• Manage access to analytics resources using Role-based access control (RBAC) to ensure security and compliance.

Required Skills

• 14+ years of experience in Azure data platform development.
• Expertise in Azure Synapse, including serverless SQL pools and Apache Spark.
• Extensive experience with Azure Databricks.
• Proficiency in Azure Data Factory for orchestration and data movement.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).
• Advanced SQL and Spark coding skills.
• Experience with CI/CD integration for data engineering workflows.
• Ability to work with KQL for data exploration and management.

Preferred Skills

• Graduate degree in a relevant technical field.
