Description

Design and maintain cloud data solutions for large-scale architectural migration.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain applications for large-scale architectural migration within an Agile function.
• Design storage and retrieval for very large internal and external datasets, planning for Azure cloud convergence.
• Develop code to handle data from heterogeneous sources, including databases, flat files, and web sources.
• Help build and maintain the enterprise Data Warehouse and assess scaling impact.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in modern data engineering, data warehousing, or data lakes on cloud platforms.
• Expertise in Azure and Microsoft Fabric data platform design for complex business needs.
• 10+ years of proven experience with SQL, schema design, and dimensional data modelling.
• Strong experience with big data tools including Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and Spark.
• Proficiency in PySpark and Spark SQL.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools like ADF and data warehousing technologies like Azure Synapse and Azure SQL.
• Solid knowledge of data warehouse best practices and development standards.
• Experience with Azure, ADLS, and general cloud data patterns.
