Description

You will own security campaign execution, log analysis, and data engineering within the Azure environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute template-based security campaigns on Azure VMs and VM Scale Sets using automated bots, Azure Automation, and PowerShell.
• Analyze campaign-generated logs and action-level telemetry to identify detection gaps and provide actionable improvement plans.
• Design, write, and optimize complex KQL queries in Azure Data Explorer to extract insights from large-scale datasets.
• Orchestrate data pipelines using Azure Data Factory for the ingestion, transformation, and processing of security telemetry.
• Generate reports and dashboards to provide visibility into campaign outcomes, detection gaps, and platform health.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in engineering roles.
• Strong PowerShell (5.1+) scripting and automation expertise.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Explorer (ADX) and complex KQL scenarios including joins and aggregations.
• Solid knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and RDBMS concepts.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory for data orchestration.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including Azure VM, VMSS, Runbooks, and Azure Automation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience in Azure Security Engineering and security monitoring solutions.
• Familiarity with S360 or similar enterprise security governance frameworks.
