Description

Own the reliability, incident response, and automation of critical healthcare applications within the Azure cloud environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident response for high-severity production outages and coordinate bridge calls to restore service.
• Perform root cause analysis across Azure infrastructure, databases, and application layers.
• Monitor system health and performance using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to reduce manual support activities and improve efficiency.
• Audit system logs and security controls to ensure ongoing HIPAA compliance and data protection.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Production Support or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Hands-on experience managing production systems in Microsoft Azure.
• Strong expertise in Azure SQL, T-SQL, and healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR).
• Advanced scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Azure CLI, Bash, or Python.
• Experience supporting healthcare environments with strict HIPAA and HITRUST requirements.
• Ability to serve as the primary on-call responder for mission-critical applications.
• Experience with Azure App Services, Virtual Machines, and Azure Functions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting Epic EHR environments (Interconnect, Bridges, Cogito).
• Familiarity with Azure OpenAI Services, LLM operations, and vector databases.
• Knowledge of enterprise disaster recovery planning and compliance audits.
