Senior Azure System Administrator

You will manage and optimize an extensive Azure virtual machine environment and Windows Server infrastructure, providing Tier 3 support for escalated system and application issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, network configurations, storage, databases, and disaster recovery planning.
• Administer Windows Server environments, covering Active Directory, DNS, IIS, and SQL Server.
• Oversee Microsoft 365 administration, specifically Exchange and SharePoint.
• Collaborate with development teams to transition applications to PaaS.
• Implement automation processes for system management and enterprise-scale deployments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Azure Infrastructure, Microsoft 365, and Windows Server administration.
• Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, IIS, and SQL Server.
• Proficiency in Azure cost management and backup solutions.
• Experience with security assessments and cyber hygiene practices, including log reviews.
• Knowledge of data privacy and compliance regulations such as PCI and GDPR.
• Ability to maintain detailed documentation for system configurations and procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Willingness to travel periodically (less than 10%).
