Description

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and cloud infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and unit test high-quality, testable code using Java and industry-standard practices.
• Integrate data from various backend services and databases.
• Lead code reviews and improve code management procedures across the team.
• Translate concepts into well-authored code, articulating design impacts and interdependencies.
• Build and release updates on schedule for web applications.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience developing software and enterprise applications.
• Expertise in object-oriented design and development using Java.
• Proficiency with REST, JSON, and XML technologies.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or other Cloud Infrastructure.
• Experience with NoSQL and Relational databases.
• Strong grasp of security principles as they apply to web applications.
• Familiarity with HTTP/S and web-based application architecture.

Preferred Skills

• Demonstrated ability to deliver working solutions under tight schedules.
