Description

You will own the design and implementation of scalable data systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement high-throughput ETL pipelines to onboard datasets and enrich vulnerability context.
• Design and build scalable, maintainable RESTful APIs using FastAPI, SQLModel, and Redis to expose data points.
• Optimize API performance to meet strict SLAs, including sub-second response times.
• Automate repetitive tasks to reduce engineering toil and improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with DevOps to deploy and scale services in OpenShift/Kubernetes environments.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience building high-throughput, data-intensive applications.
• Proven expertise in Python and relational databases.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, caching strategies, and microservices architecture.
• Experience designing systems handling billions of events and supporting hundreds of thousands of users.
• Deep knowledge of data modeling, schema design, and query optimization.
• Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift).
• Proficiency in ETL processes and Data Management.
• Experience building RESTful services.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in vulnerability management or cybersecurity domains.
• Prior success mentoring engineers and leading architectural decisions.
