Description

You will design, develop, and maintain backend applications, APIs, and microservices using Python, Java, and cloud-native technologies.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and support scalable solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, Cloud Build, and Cloud Logging.
• Develop and manage REST and gRPC APIs, ensuring performance, security, and seamless integration with enterprise applications.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, observability, and automated testing practices to improve application quality and operational efficiency.
• Optimize backend infrastructure, troubleshoot production issues, and enhance application reliability and security across cloud environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend software engineering, cloud-native application development, or microservices-based systems.
• Strong expertise in Python and Java for building scalable backend services.
• Deep knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including Cloud Run, GKE, and Pub/Sub.
• Experience designing REST and gRPC APIs.
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub-based development workflows.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Experience collaborating with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams.
