Description

Akkodis is seeking a highly experienced Senior Back End – Software Developer to support the design, development, modernization, and ongoing support of complex, large‑scale, cloud‑native and enterprise applications within a regulated Public Sector environment. The successful consultant will work collaboratively with business, UX/UI, and architecture teams to deliver secure, accessible (AODA‑compliant), high‑performance software solutions supporting mission‑critical public services.

Scope

Collaborate with Business Analysts, UX/UI Designers, Product Managers, Cloud Architects, and Technical Leads to translate business requirements, user stories, and solution architecture into robust technical designs.

Design and develop cloud‑native, microservices‑based, and enterprise web applications, including Minimum Viable Products (MVPs).

Modernize legacy systems using .NET Core, C#, Java EE, and Cloud PaaS technologies.

Assignment Deliverables

Application design and technical specification documents

UML design artefacts (Use Case, Class, Sequence, State diagrams)

Secure, scalable, and maintainable software components

Unit tests, automated test artefacts, and QA support documentation.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

10+ years’ experience in .NET development using C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, RESTful APIs

Strong experience with Cloud‑Native architectures, PaaS platforms, and microservices

Extensive hands‑on development experience with Java EE / Spring Framework / Spring Boot

Strong database expertise in Oracle, SQL Server, and SQL / Stored Procedures

Experience securing applications following OWASP best practices

Nice to Have:

Experience with Angular, React / Redux, Node.js

Experience with Azure App Service, Azure DevOps, Docker.
