Description

You will build and maintain scalable backend services within high-traffic environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deploy new scalable and secure Node.js services.
• Refactor and modernize legacy Node.js services.
• Integrate external services into existing architecture.
• Prototype new technologies to reduce costs and increase engineer velocity.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of experience designing, implementing, and running servers in high-traffic environments.
• Extensive recent experience with Node.js.
• Proficiency with TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with MongoDB and Redis.
• Experience with Golang.
• Proven ability to work within a distributed team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Ad Tech, including DSPs, SSPs, VAST, or VMAP.
