Description

Lead the architectural direction and development of custom Java-based applications within the Mar Tech ecosystem.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve backend architecture for mobile applications, focusing on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Architect microservices and serverless solutions using GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Define and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs optimized for mobile performance.
• Lead deployment strategies utilizing Terraform and container orchestration tools.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery across all backend systems.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience designing and developing scalable, secure backend systems.
• Deep expertise in cloud-native architectures, API design, and microservices.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java.
• Proficiency in GCP, AWS, or Azure cloud platforms.
• Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Familiarity with OAuth2, JWT, and API gateways.
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure components (VPC, S3, CloudWatch).
• Solid understanding of mobile ecosystem requirements (offline sync, push notifications).
