Description

Lead the design and maintenance of backend and mainframe validation automation within an enterprise QA framework.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend automation scripts using Automation Anywhere and IBM HATS CLI to validate batch jobs and data integrity.
• Integrate backend validation into the Robot Framework orchestration layer using metadata-driven models.
• Embed backend test suites into Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Implement tagging, traceability, and audit logging to meet SOX, PCI, and FFIEC compliance standards.
• Automate test data provisioning, reservation, and cleanup processes using TDP and synthetic fallback pools.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in backend or mainframe automation.
• Proficiency in Java and Python for CLI-based automation.
• Hands-on experience with Automation Anywhere and IBM HATS.
• Strong understanding of Robot Framework and metadata-driven execution.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
• Expertise in YAML and JSON test suite generation.
• Working knowledge of compliance frameworks: SOX, PCI, and FFIEC.
• Experience with test data management tools like TDP.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in financial services or regulated environments.
• Exposure to observability tools like Allure and ReportPortal.
