Description

You will design, build, and operate microservices-based systems using Java and Spring Boot, owning architecture, performance, and reliability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Spring Boot microservices with clean, testable code and efficient API contracts.
• Build data access layers using Spring Data JPA, designing schemas and optimizing SQL queries for PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Develop REST, gRPC, and async APIs, implementing integration patterns and inter-service communication.
• Ensure system reliability through monitoring, logging, tracing, fault tolerance, circuit breakers, and retries.
• Lead code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical estimates while mentoring junior engineers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Java development experience with strong proficiency in Spring Boot and Spring Data JPA.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (Postgres, MySQL) and SQL optimization techniques.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, service discovery, and API versioning.
• Experience with messaging and event-driven systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Proficiency in writing unit and integration tests, along with using CI tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Strong debugging, performance profiling, and system design skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Familiarity with Redis, Docker, and Kubernetes.
