Description

You will design, develop, and ship scalable RESTful APIs and backend services within an AWS cloud ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop shippable code, including documentation and unit testing for new features.
• Collaborate with Architects and Team Leads to build reusable RESTful APIs.
• Implement data access controls, roles, and monitoring to ensure API security and continuous functioning.
• Perform pair programming, system integration, performance testing, and product releases.
• Resolve system and data issues within Agile/SCRUM workflows.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in API or server-side development.
• Expertise in JavaScript and Node.js.
• Strong proficiency in Java.
• 4+ years of experience with AWS, including Lambda, ECS, and API Gateway.
• 4+ years of experience with NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB and document storage modeling.
• Experience developing microservices and CI/CD solutions using Docker.
• Knowledge of API security frameworks including OAuth, JWT, and OpenAPI.
• Proficiency in C# or Python.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CDN implementation and API performance testing.
• Experience with traditional EC2 alongside serverless architectures.
