Description

You will design, build, and maintain Java-based microservices and RESTful web services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage RESTful web services through the full development lifecycle.
• Design backend microservices using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, or Play Framework.
• Optimize SQL and NoSQL database queries and schemas.
• Implement multi-threaded concurrent solutions within distributed environments.
• Apply microservice design patterns and development best practices to core systems.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong expertise in Java and RESTful web services.
• Hands-on experience with AWS.
• Experience with Spring Boot (Spring MVC, Spring WebFlux) or Play Framework.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases including PostgresDB, DynamoDB, or MongoDB.
• Ability to measure and optimize SQL queries and understanding of ACID properties.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with Angular.
• Experience testing Single Page Applications using Jasmine, Karma, or similar frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with event-driven architecture.
• Knowledge of reactive Java frameworks such as Reactor or RxJava.
• Familiarity with modern security mechanisms and authentication types.
