Description

You will design, build, and operate microservices-based systems using Java and Spring Boot.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Spring Boot microservices using clean, testable code.
• Build data access layers with Spring Data JPA; design schemas and optimize queries for Postgres/MySQL.
• Develop REST/gRPC/async APIs, defining integration patterns and inter-service contracts.
• Ensure system reliability through monitoring, logging, tracing, and implementing fault tolerance patterns.
• Lead code reviews, architecture discussions, and drive best practices across the team.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Java development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Spring Boot and Spring Data JPA.
• Solid experience with relational databases (Postgres, MySQL) and SQL optimization.
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, service discovery, and API design.
• Familiarity with messaging/event systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ and async patterns.
• Proficiency in unit/integration testing and using CI tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Strong skills in debugging, performance profiling, and system design.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Redis.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes or other container orchestration.
