Description

You build the backend services powering intuitive in-product onboarding and guidance experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain backend services for onboarding use cases and in-product guidance.
• Own database design, including query optimization for both SQL and NoSQL systems.
• Craft APIs and implement event-driven integrations to shape platform architecture.
• Translate user needs from product and UX into technical solutions while implementing testing and observability.
• Explore and integrate generative AI capabilities to personalize onboarding and automate guidance.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of backend development experience with proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.
• Proven experience designing and working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms and microservices-based architectures.
• Solid knowledge of API design and event-driven architectures.
• Practical experience with testing, monitoring/observability, and CI/CD practices.
• Strong communicator with a product mindset capable of independent and cross-functional work.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on generative AI experience.
• Familiarity with TypeScript and Angular.
