Description

You develop backend services and own the delivery lifecycle for microservices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define feature scope and estimate effort with Product Managers and Owners.
• Design and implement new microservices, database schemas, caching layers, and messaging systems.
• Create and manage release pipelines, deploying candidates to non-production environments.
• Implement unit and functional tests to ensure code quality.
• Coordinate feature delivery and maintenance with Infra, DevOps, and Support teams.

Required Skills

• 8+ years developing Java applications.
• 5+ years developing backend web applications.
• Expert proficiency in Java (11+), Spring Framework & Libraries, and Spock Unit testing.
• Proven experience with large volume, low latency transaction support.
• Strong understanding of Cassandra database design and query patterns.
• Experience with Apache Kafka for asynchronous message processing.
• Familiarity with Azure Cloud environments, Kubernetes, Docker, and Git.
