Description

You will own the development of scalable backend services using Python.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable backend applications using Python frameworks like Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
• Build and deploy serverless APIs utilizing Azure Functions and ensure cloud integration.
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs while contributing to microservices architecture.
• Manage and optimize NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB, MongoDB, Redis) and SQL instances.
• Implement API security, authentication, and performance optimization practices.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of hands-on backend development experience using Python.
• Expertise in Flask, Django, or FastAPI for API development.
• Experience with Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, and Azure Vector DB.
• Proficiency with NoSQL databases and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful API development and Microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of working with Angular frontend teams for API integration.
