Description

You will build and operate core backend services using Python within regulated cloud environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to industry best practices.
• Develop and automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform and/or AWS CDK.
• Design, build, and operationalize data and ML pipelines using AWS Glue, Step Functions, Lambda, EMR, and SageMaker.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and Git-based workflows.
• Apply security best practices, including IAM least privilege, encryption, and secrets management, ensuring compliance with HIPAA/FedRAMP High.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of post-education professional experience.
• Expert-level Python skills.
• Strong proficiency in AWS or Azure.
• Experience deploying and managing containerized applications (ECS preferred).
• Proficiency with database technologies including RDBMS, DynamoDB, and data lake platforms.
• Experience with Terraform and AWS CDK.
• Familiarity with CI/CD Pipelines and Git workflows.
• Strong experience working in Linux environments.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
