Description

You will own backend development, cloud infrastructure automation, and data pipeline operations in regulated environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain ETL processes and ML pipelines using AWS Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, and SageMaker.
• Automate cloud infrastructure with Terraform and AWS CDK, ensuring security and scalability.
• Write clean, documented Python code for application logic, API services, and robust ETL jobs with proper logging and monitoring.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage containerized deployments on ECS or Kubernetes.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across the stack and contribute to architecture documentation and runbooks.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Expert-level Python proficiency; experience with Django is required.
• Strong proficiency in AWS or Azure, with the ability to quickly master the other.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and AWS CDK for infrastructure as code.
• Deep knowledge of databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and DynamoDB.
• Experience building and monitoring data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Comfortable working in Linux environments and Agile teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Go and C++.
• Professional-level AWS or Azure certifications.
