Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs. You own the release pipeline and architectural decisions that ensure system scalability.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain resilient backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
• Manage database schemas and optimize performance using MySQL and Sequelize ORM.
• Write clean, maintainable code in TypeScript to ensure high reliability.
• Develop, test, and document RESTful APIs using Postman.
• Participate in Agile processes including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Proficiency in Node.js and Express.js.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Deep experience with MySQL and Sequelize ORM.
• Extensive experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Skill in using Postman for thorough API testing and validation.
• Experience with JIRA for issue tracking and Confluence for documentation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in a senior or lead developer role.
