Description

You will own backend system design, development, and testing using AWS, Python, and Kafka.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex, defect-free software components and applications.
• Write and execute unit tests, integration tests, and regression scripts.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and propose technical alternatives.
• Collaborate on backlog tracking, burndown metrics, and incremental delivery.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python and AWS services.
• Experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven architectures.
• Strong understanding of layered system architectures and shared software concepts.
• Extensive knowledge of agile methodologies and processes.
• Ability to work across multiple platforms and tools.
• Strong communication and consultative skills.
