Description

Drive backend development and systems architecture for core services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain services using the Node.js ecosystem.
• Implement API endpoints using Express.js.
• Optimize PostgreSQL query performance, indexing, and connection pooling.
• Manage complex data structures, migrations, and transactions via Sequelize ORM.
• Design and scale databases, including read replicas.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in Node.js and advanced patterns (async/await, event emitters, streams).
• Proficiency with AWS services.
• Strong command of PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with React development principles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS Lambda optimization and cold start management.
• Knowledge of memory management and performance tuning in Node.js.
