Description

You will design and maintain scalable backend systems using Node.js and TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize GraphQL APIs using Apollo Federation, resolvers, and subgraphs.
• Implement event-driven architectures leveraging Kafka and SQS for asynchronous processing.
• Deploy and manage cloud-native services on AWS, including EKS, Lambda, and API Gateway.
• Ensure system reliability through CI/CD pipelines, TDD practices, and observability with OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and Datadog.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with GraphQL (Apollo Federation).
• Demonstrated expertise in AWS services (EKS, Lambda, API Gateway).
• Experience with message brokers like Kafka or SQS.
• Familiarity with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
• Commitment to CI/CD and Test-Driven Development (TDD).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Background in designing microservices architectures.
