Description

You will design, code, and debug complex backend systems and infrastructure modules.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test high-complexity software applications and system modules.
• Own the end-to-end software lifecycle, including integration, deployment, and maintenance at scale.
• Lead technical problem resolution, including responding to off-shift and weekend support calls.
• Perform integrated testing and customer acceptance testing to ensure quality results.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to team members on programming and system administration tasks.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience, or 8 years with a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience designing and developing software applications using Java.
• 3+ years of experience developing in AWS, specifically with CloudFormation, ECS clusters, Lambda, Fargate, Amazon Elasticsearch, and S3.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of IAM roles and policies.
• Experience developing software applications using relational and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of application architectural patterns including MVC, Microservices, and Event-driven architectures.
• Experience deploying software using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in working within an Agile framework, ideally Scrum.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure or GCP environments.
