Description

You will own the design and implementation of scalable backend systems and microservices.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-performance APIs and microservices using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Design GraphQL schemas and resolvers using Apollo Federation.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka and SQS.
• Deploy and manage cloud-native applications on AWS (EKS, Lambda, API Gateway).
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and ensure system observability via OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and Datadog.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Deep expertise in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Strong experience with GraphQL, specifically Apollo Federation.
• Proficiency with AWS services including EKS, Lambda, and API Gateway.
• Experience with message brokers such as Kafka and SQS.
• Knowledge of containerization (Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Familiarity with monitoring and tracing tools like Grafana and Datadog.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with TDD and automated testing frameworks.
• Background in distributed systems and event-driven design.
