Description

You will build and scale distributed systems by collaborating across product, design, and engineering teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute the full development cycle including technical design, development, testing, experimentation, and launch.
• Review code and design documents while providing feedback on product specifications and mocks.
• Lead projects requiring cross-team and cross-functional collaboration.
• Improve developer workflows, recommend best practices, and mentor junior engineers.
• Contribute to product and business strategy through technical implementation.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of industry experience.
• 5+ years of experience in large-scale distributed systems.
• 5+ years of experience in Go, Python, Rust, or Ruby.
• Experience designing and implementing maintainable APIs using GraphQL, REST, HTTP, or Thrift.
• Experience with distributed caching layers and large-scale data storage systems like Cassandra.
• Proven track record of developing and improving highly scalable and reliable serving systems.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to deliver projects on schedule.
• BS degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
