Description

You will design and maintain scalable backend services and reactive systems. You own the full lifecycle from architecture to code quality and production support.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services using Scala and Play.
• Implement reactive systems using Akka.
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs.
• Optimize MySQL and Oracle databases for performance.
• Write unit and integration tests, and perform code reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Scala.
• Strong proficiency with the Play framework.
• Experience building reactive systems with Akka.
• Demonstrable experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Deep expertise in MySQL and Oracle database optimization.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and EKS.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience working independently in a collaborative team environment.
