Description

You will own the technical aspects of software development for assigned applications and drive consistent development practices across your team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own all technical aspects of software development for assigned applications.
• Participate in the design and development of systems and application programs.
• Mentor engineers and manage up to 2-3 engineers in a team lead capacity.
• Collaborate with product owners on blueprints, annual planning, and sprint prioritization.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to adopt new technologies and improve processes.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• At least one year of experience in a team lead role.
• Hands-on expertise with application design, software development, and automated testing.
• Proficiency with Java, including advanced design patterns and common libraries.
• Experience constructing enterprise-grade APIs using REST, JSON, and XML.
• Strong understanding of Agile or rapid application development methods.
• Experience with GitHub, Git, and JIRA.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microservices Architecture, Event Driven Systems, and Kafka.
• Knowledge of data pipelines, stream processing, and data-centric application design.
• Experience using MongoDB or PostgreSQL in high-performance configurations.
