You will build and maintain backend systems at scale.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices architectures.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Workflows.
• Develop platform-level systems, including API gateways and rate limiting.
• Apply backend security best practices for authentication and authorization.
• Monitor and observe system telemetry using tools like Grafana.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend engineering.
• Deep expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with backend frameworks like Fastify or Express.
• In-depth understanding of REST API design principles.
• Solid experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS Lambda.
• Proficiency with CI/CD practices and Git.
• Familiarity with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of observability tools, including Grafana.
• Experience building scalable systems with API gateway patterns.
