Description

Lead the technical transition of core components from Java to Node.js while designing distributed systems and microservices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Direct the migration of existing Java components to Node.js.
• Design and implement distributed systems architecture and microservices.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend data structures.
• Apply performance and security best practices to all code deployments.
• Collaborate on full-stack requirements including frontend integration.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Node.js and Java.
• Experience with distributed systems architecture and microservices.
• Strong RESTful API design principles.
• Hands-on experience with SQL databases including PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Ability to work extensively with data.
• Experience with frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Knowledge of state management libraries like Redux or MobX.
• Familiarity with modern frameworks like Next.js.
