Description

Build and maintain backend services for a large-scale distributed system securing tens of millions of devices across Windows, Linux, and macOS.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support robust backend systems and RESTful APIs.
• Own feature design, technical documentation, and database schema design.
• Develop and maintain services using Go and Python to handle hundreds of billions of security events daily.
• Integrate backend services with cloud providers, databases, messaging systems, and caching solutions.
• Optimize system performance and scalability to manage high-volume workloads.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Go and Python.
• Experience with AWS or GCP.
• Experience with Postgres or MongoDB.
• Experience with Redis.
• Experience with Kafka.
• Knowledge of Windows, Linux, or macOS environments.
• Ability to design efficient database schemas and RESTful APIs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience collaborating with product, validation, and front-end teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
