Description

You will build and maintain backend services while migrating legacy Ruby codebases to modern Java services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services using Java (Spring Boot) and Ruby.
• Design and optimize GraphQL and RESTful APIs for internal and external use.
• Manage services on AWS using Lambda, RDS, and API Gateway.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and Docker.
• Monitor application reliability using New Relic, Splunk, or Grafana.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of backend development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Ruby and maintaining legacy codebases.
• GraphQL schema design and query optimization.
• Strong SQL (Postgres) and NoSQL (MongoDB) knowledge.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and deployment strategies.
• Familiarity with Git, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with APM tools and monitoring frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
