Description

You will own the design, build, and scaling of backend services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Architect RESTful APIs and backend services with clear domain boundaries.
• Own data modeling, indexing, and performance tuning in MongoDB, ensuring proficiency with Postgres or MySQL.
• Implement API security, authentication, authorization, and rate limiting for all services.
• Own production stability, scalability, and incident resolution for deployed systems.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of strong experience in Java and Spring Boot, specifically building REST APIs and microservices.
• Solid understanding of MongoDB, including schema design and indexing practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms: GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and backend architecture principles.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git/GitHub, and automated deployments.
• Knowledge of API security standards (OAuth/JWT, RBAC).
• Experience implementing observability: logging, metrics, and tracing.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployment workflows.
