Description

You will design and build scalable n-tier applications using Java/J2EE, RESTful services, and NoSQL technologies. You own the full lifecycle from high-level design discovery through to release management and production support.

Responsibilities

• Develop n-tier applications using Java/J2EE, RESTful services, and CosmosDB/NoSQL.
• Lead discovery phases for medium to large projects to define high-level system designs.
• Manage code, configurations, and release processes across multiple environments to ensure integrity.
• Analyze business requirements and storyboards within an agile development environment.
• Troubleshoot business and production issues, providing solutions for design and development problems.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience building scalable ecommerce applications.
• 10+ years of experience programming in Java/J2EE, REST Services, Apache, and Tomcat.
• 8+ years of experience building services using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• 4+ years of experience with NoSQL, preferably CosmosDB.
• Proficiency with J2EE application servers such as WebLogic or WebSphere.
• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong technical communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with UNIX shell and scripting.
• Experience with GIT, Ant, or Maven.
• Experience using Eclipse and standard tools for code optimization and testing.
