Description

Lead the design and development of scalable, high-availability web applications for global eCommerce platforms.

Responsibilities

• Architect high-performance web applications and direct high-level design for large-scale projects.
• Develop and maintain REST API web services using Spring Boot and Java.
• Implement Kafka producers and consumers for high-throughput messaging systems.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, application deployments, and integration of third-party solutions.
• Perform root cause analysis for critical production issues and ensure software compliance.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in eCommerce software development.
• 7+ years of experience architecting highly scalable and performing web applications.
• 4+ years of experience developing high-transaction, high-throughput systems.
• Proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming.
• Experience designing and implementing REST API web services and Spring Boot back-end APIs.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL) and NoSQL databases (Cassandra).
• Experience building automation frameworks and writing unit/integration tests using JUnit and Mockito.
• Experience building logging, alerting, and monitoring solutions using Splunk.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing and implementing Spring frameworks.
