Description

Build and maintain high-performance backend services and payment processing systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while participating in rigorous code reviews.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and architects to integrate server-side logic with user-facing elements.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks to optimize the portal for speed and scalability.
• Iterate on interfaces and features based on user feedback and performance analytics.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with GoLang and JQ.
• 4+ years of experience with Java.
• 6+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• 1+ year in a lead role.
• Proficiency in JavaScript.
• Experience with database systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• In-depth understanding of payment processing protocols and standards, such as PCI DSS.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices, data protection, tokenization, and encryption.
• Experience with code versioning tools like Git.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Background developing payment gateways for e-commerce and integrating financial APIs.
• Experience integrating with payment fraud checker APIs.
