Description

You will build and maintain scalable backend applications within a Google Cloud Platform environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-performance Java backend applications and cloud-native APIs.
• Design and implement microservices architectures.
• Deploy and manage containerized services using Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Monitor system health using observability tools like ELK or Prometheus.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in backend Java development.
• Expertise in Java 8+ and J2EE.
• Deep experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
• Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Composer, Dataproc, Dataflow, and Apache Beam.
• Experience with Python and SQL-based databases.
• Practical knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Experience with Spark and DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to use ELK Stack or similar monitoring tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in agile, collaborative engineering environments.
