Description

You will build and maintain core backend services using Java, focusing on scalability and data persistence.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend features using Java.
• Manage and optimize data persistence using Cassandra.
• Develop and maintain message streams utilizing Apache Kafka.
• Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate on code reviews and maintain version control via Git.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expert proficiency in Java (version 11 or newer).
• Deep experience with Spring Framework and related libraries.
• Demonstrated ability to perform unit testing using Spock.
• Hands-on experience with Cassandra database design and query patterns.
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka for asynchronous communication.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes for orchestration.
• Experience with Git for source control.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of Azure Cloud environments.
• Experience with Any Graduate level education or equivalent.
