Description

Design and maintain high-performance Java microservices in an AWS EKS environment. You will own the full code lifecycle, from CI/CD deployment to production monitoring.

Build event-driven architectures and data pipelines using Kafka and PL/SQL. Manage complex data persistence with myBatis and Oracle databases. Develop automated batch jobs using Autosys.

Drive a test-first culture with ATDD, writing tests in Groovy/Spock and mocking dependencies with Wiremock. Monitor system health via Datadog.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Java/Spring Boot microservices within AWS EKS.
• Implement event-driven data pipelines and inter-service communication using Kafka.
• Manage data persistence and mapping with myBatis and Oracle databases.
• Develop and optimize automated batch processing jobs using Autosys and PL/SQL.
• Write expressive tests using Groovy/Spock and mock dependencies with Wiremock.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and AWS EKS.
• Experience with Kafka for event-driven systems.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL and Oracle database management.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Datadog monitoring.
• Ability to write tests using Groovy and Spock.
• Familiarity with Wiremock for dependency mocking.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience in financial data processing.
