Description

You will design and develop backend components for scalable eCommerce applications, owning the release pipeline and API upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable backend applications using Go and Java within a microservices architecture.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to iterate on designs and ship features.
• Monitor performance, rectify support issues, and uphold engineering best practices.
• Review application code and plan future API upgrades with the development team.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience developing large-scale web applications using Go and Java.
• Strong programming skills in Go and Java, including data structures.
• Deep experience with Microservices architecture and development.
• Extensive use of the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring Security, Dependency Injection, and AOP.
• Hands-on experience with messaging architectures using Kafka or equivalent.
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs and a deep understanding of REST principles.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases such as Oracle, Postgres, and Cassandra.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
• Familiarity with eCommerce modules such as Catalog setup and Search (Solr, Elasticsearch).
