Description

You will build core backend features and manage critical service architectures within an Agile environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, consistent code using Node.js and NestJS best practices and perform peer code reviews.
• Develop complex backend services and microservice architectures.
• Maintain headless backend functionality through comprehensive unit test suites.
• Mentor associate developers and assist peers with technical troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with designers, QA, and product managers to deliver regular software releases.

Required Skills

• At least 3 years of professional backend development experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Deep experience with Node.js and NestJS.
• Hands-on experience implementing GraphQL-based systems.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL and API-driven application projects.
• Proven track record deploying services to AWS using Docker and Terraform.
• Proficiency with Git, Jenkins, Charles Proxy, and Postman.
• United States citizenship is required; all work must be performed within the US.

Preferred Skills

• BA/BS degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with React and React Native integrations.
