Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and public APIs using Python, taking full ownership from architecture to deployment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize relational database schemas (Postgres/MySQL) and caching layers (Redis).
• Build and scale public APIs to support web and mobile applications.
• Write maintainable, high-quality code following Pythonic idioms and best practices.
• Manage application containerization and deployment using Docker and Kubernetes.

Required Skills

• 7 to 10 years of professional software development experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and its development ecosystem.
• Proven experience building public APIs at scale.
• Hands-on experience with Docker for containerization.
• Experience deploying applications to Kubernetes environments.
• Proficiency with relational databases such as Postgres or MySQL.
• Experience with Redis for caching implementations.
• Bachelor's degree in any field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GraphQL in Python using Strawberry or Graphene.
• Knowledge of healthcare domain applications for patients.
