Description

You will own the design, build, and maintenance of high-performance microservices using Java and Spring Boot. Your focus will be on event-driven architecture, ensuring system reliability, scalability, and low-latency performance.

Responsibilities

• Build and secure scalable microservices using Java 17 and Spring Boot.
• Implement event-driven messaging with Apache Kafka producers and consumers.
• Optimize PostgreSQL schemas, SQL queries, and transaction handling for high throughput.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployments via Azure DevOps.
• Lead code reviews, enforce architectural standards, and mentor junior engineers.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of backend software development experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Java 17 and Spring Boot (Data, Security, Cloud).
• Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry.
• Practical knowledge of Apache Kafka for message queuing and stream processing.
• Strong expertise in PostgreSQL, including advanced SQL optimization and schema migrations.
• Solid background in Azure DevOps for deployment and pipeline maintenance.
• Understanding of Microservices Architecture and RESTful API design.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
• Competence with JUnit, Mockito, and integration testing frameworks.
