Description

You will build and maintain scalable backend systems for media subscription and commerce platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend systems supporting media subscription and commerce platforms.
• Develop RESTful web services using relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Implement automated testing across unit, integration, and functional levels to ensure system reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering teams through the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.
• Participate in technical design discussions and architecture reviews to improve engineering practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience building scalable backend solutions.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented or functional programming principles.
• Hands-on experience with cloud systems, specifically AWS or GCP.
• Proficiency in Scala, Golang, or Java.
• Experience with REST APIs, DynamoDB, Lambda, and ECS.
• Proven ability to design fault-tolerant systems focused on maintainability.
• Familiarity with technologies like Kinesis.
