Description

You will design and build scalable, cloud-native backend services using Java and AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design for large-scale IT projects and define requirements with stakeholders.
• Design, develop, and test highly available backend services focused on event-driven architectures and EDI transactions.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot issues across existing applications to maintain system reliability.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for all services and projects.
• Contribute to improving CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Code Pipeline, and CloudFormation.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of relevant software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java 17 and Spring Boot.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (ECS, EventBridge, S3, Lambda, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, RDS/Aurora).
• Proven experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Code Pipeline, or CloudFormation.
• Solid experience utilizing automated testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber.
• Experience designing solutions using event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with Twelve-Factor Application Methodology.
• Knowledge of application security vulnerabilities and mitigation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Developer – Associate or higher.
• Experience with AWS CDK and infrastructure as code.
